Olympia Electronics Participated in the leading international maritime trade fair SMM 2016 in Hamburg

   OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. develops high technology safety and security systems since 1979.  It has 165 employees and the 10% of the human resource works in the Research and Development (R&D) department. The company exports in more than 72 countries worldwide with certified products according to the European norms (EN).


    In the effort to promote its product even further, OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A., participated in SMM 2016 from 6th till 9th of September, one of the largest International Marine Fairs which was held in Hamburg, Germany.  OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. participated in SMM 2016 via HEMEXPO (Hellenic Marine Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters), winner of the prize “Efkranti” to support the Greek Marine business in 2015. The main purpose of OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. and HEMEXPO as well is to make marine products of Greek companies globally known and to equip ships of many countries, through collective work and by taking initiatives.


     OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. was represented by Mr. Charalambos Marmagelos – Commercial Director and Mr. Stergios Koutsouvaloglou  - Germany Area Sales Manager, who contacted with shipyards and shipping companies from all over the world like the French STX Shipyard, The German MEYER Shipyard, the Chinese CSSC Shipyard, the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

 Shipping is traditionally one of the most important sectors of the Greek economy, which could also be a pillar of development through the high level of expertise held in the design and construction of ships as well as in the offering of quality products and services.
